Business Development Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join our team of seasoned professionals. We welcome applications from aspiring BDM's or those currently working in a sales role seeking ongoing learning and growth in the finance sector.NOW Finance is an Australian-owned non-bank lender, specialising in personal loans with a fee-free, value-for-money finance solution.This role will be based in Sydney with the opportunity to build on your current experience, meeting our brokers and aggregator groups face to face. You will collaborate closely with the extended BDM team across Australia, and be responsible for managing all third-party relationships within your dedicated territory, including:Proactively managing a portfolio of brokers across multiple third-party aggregation platforms to achieve sales targets and promotion of productsSource new business through building relationships and accrediting new introducers to achieve set targetsConduct structured sales calls and visits with defined objectivesTrain new intermediaries to ensure strong knowledge of NOW Finance systems/productsDiscuss loan scenarios and structure with Brokers to increase application volume and qualityDevelop, manage and leverage relationships with third-party aggregator staff (regional managers, BDMs etc) and generate business from their brokersConduct monthly reviews with brokers and aggregators to identify opportunities and maximise salesIdentify, report and act on compliance requirements for brokers, including compliance with regulatory obligations, credit standards and policy, operating risks (including fraudulent activity) and credit risksAdhere to NOW Finance policies, procedures, and industry regulationsKey Attributes & RequirementsStrong communication skills and relationship-building abilities.A strong sales background and a drive for growth is essential - consumer lending experience is a plus but not a requirementConfident, self-motivated team playerHigh energy, enthusiasm and proven sales abilityAt NOW Finance, we prioritise and foster our employees' personal and professional development.
