GYG Mission Statement: GYG will dominate fast casual Mexican dining by always delivering remarkable food and service experiences. The Role: Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, Sales and Line crew members are responsible for the ongoing delivery of pleasant and prompt service to customers, and the preparation of menu items according to the procedures and processes outlined by GYG.
Sales and Line crew members are to maintain complete knowledge of GYG menu items, ingredients, and procedures at all times in order to proactively and promptly deliver high-quality Mexican products.
To be successful in this role, you should have/be: Advanced English skills (if non-native)RSA certificateAbility to multitask and work in a fast-paced environmentBasic computer skills and capability of learning Point of Sales and EFTPOS machine operationGeneral understanding of Australian currency, payment methods, and loyalty cardsOutgoing and approachable personalityPatience and eagerness to help customersCapability of maintaining a clean, tidy, and organised workstationWillingness to learn and a proactive, enthusiastic personalityGood communication skills and great ability to work as part of a teamSelf-motivated and "always moving" attitudePrevious experience in customer service or food preparation will be regarded, but it is not essential.
