The team has designed and built Vertiia - an emissions free, long range, hydrogen VTOL aircraft, that will serve both the Defence and Civil sectors, being used for aeromedical, emergency services, regional passenger and cargo use cases. We are located at Bankstown Airport, and our flight test site is in central west regional NSW.About the roleWe are currently looking for an experienced hands-on Program Manager to play a key leadership role in ensuring effective planning, scheduling and execution of all programs across the business. The role will report directly to the Chief Engineering Officer and have responsibility for maintaining and ensuring delivery against an Integrated Management Schedule (IMS). You will oversee and deliver the agreed scope of projects, managing key stakeholders, and providing comprehensive program-level reporting and governance.The role will entail the following key responsibilities:Establish and maintain strong and effective engagement with the engineering teams to support a strong high performing team culture.Ensure timely delivery of program milestones.Coordinate with cross-functional teams, suppliers and contractors to achieve program milestones and meet deadlines.Provide regular progress updates and recommendations to the management team to facilitate informed decision-making and resource allocation.Provide effective management of risks, issues and priorities.Provide direction and support for the program and project teams.The role calls for someone who is highly motivated and successful in project leading and delivering complex and challenging technical projects.About youSkills and Qualifications:Engineering Degree or equivalent.Experience in leading aerospace engineering related projects is highly desirable.At least 8+ years' experience as a Project/Program Manager, leading complex engineering design, build and modification projects in aerospace/manufacturing/mechanical and/or automotive environments.Ability to focus on details and technicalities while simultaneously retaining a comprehensive vision of the big program picture.Excellent organisational, time management, team management and communication skills.Competitive remuneration is on offer.
