We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Community-Based Dietitian to join our team.
This role provides an exciting opportunity to work closely with diverse populations, particularly Veteran and current serving ADF members delivering high-quality nutrition care and programs to improve community health outcomes.
We are a Veteran owned and operated Dietitian company with clinic locations across the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane.
We support all clients and referrals, including DVA, Medicare, Private Health, NDIS (plan & self-managed) & Aged Care.
We are a new and expanding company looking for dietitians whose values align with our own.
Position DescriptionAs a Community-Based Dietitian, you will:
Develop and deliver evidence-based nutrition programs tailored to meet the needs of the local community.Provide individual consultations to promote healthy eating habits and prevent diet-related conditions.Collaborate with healthcare providers, community organizations, and stakeholders to enhance nutritional services.Conduct health promotion activities such as workshops, cooking demonstrations, and seminars.Maintain accurate records, including client assessments, program reports, and data collection for evaluation.Qualifications & RegistrationBachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics.Current accreditation with Dietitians Australia – APD status.Experience & SkillsMinimum 2 years' experience.Demonstrated experience in community health, public health, or clinical dietetics.Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with diverse populations.Experience in delivering health education and group facilitation.Knowledge & AttributesComprehensive understanding of community health principles and social determinants of health.Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development.Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.Practical RequirementsCurrent driver's license and willingness to travel within the community.Valid Working with Children Check and Police Clearance and NDIS worker screening check.Experience working within the Veteran community.Familiarity with digital health tools and resources.Why Join Us?Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the community, particularly in the Veteran community.Supportive work environment.Professional development and career progression opportunities.How to Apply:Please submit your resume and a cover letter addressing the essential criteria to .
