As part of a national team expanding in Queensland, this role requires effective and professional leadership at a pivotal stage of growthYou will be working closely with local Directors in Queensland and the National Water Lead in Sydney to enhance BG&E's presence in QueenslandThis role will provide the opportunity to work alongside the local directors in Queensland and the National Water Lead in Sydney, to further grow BG&E's Queensland presence.What to expect:Leading packages for major road, rail, and metro infrastructure projects, including flooding and water input into detailed design, while managing communication with clients and stakeholders.Delivering technical solutions for disaster recovery projects, flood studies, risk management plans, evacuation management, and impact assessments.Providing technical review and mentorship to junior staff, offering guidance and expertise.Serving as an independent verifier for projects, ensuring quality and accuracy.About youYou will have a developed technical understanding of the principles and approaches of ARR2019 and of relevant local and state flooding legislation and policy and approval pathways.Experience and or existing relationships within the relevant state authorities in your region such as TMR etc.
