Job Overview As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for working with multiple cross-functional squads to ensure solutions (products and services) are relevant, stable, available and reliable for Wrkr customers, through the planning and execution of appropriate requirements gathering, refining, testing and solution designing.
You will lead our teams in these areas by championing agile software delivery practices such as product discovery, requirements gathering, user story elicitation, backlog refining, end to end testing and participate in overall responsibility for the functional quality of the solution.
The Business Analyst supports Wrkr in the following ways: Defining a consistent approach to requirements gathering with traceability back to business strategy, vision, regulatory, contractual and customer experience needs.Liaising with product owners, quality analysts and developers to ensure that planned product increment meets the requirements and quality is built-in to the process.Ensuring the user stories defined are of good quality, include a persona and acceptance criteria, and can be tested (both functionally and non functionally).Work embedded with the teams to ensure they have access to the right information from the customer and stakeholders at the right time, in order to assist the development of the solution and know that it will achieve the outcome.Ensuring the impact of decisions are reviewed in the context of the customer, vision, and product purpose / mission.Executing test cases for projects and products and their enhancements.Executing discovery based research for new projects and products and their enhancements.Creating and contributing to the Product Management and Quality Analysis community of practice at Wrkr.Be an advocate of Agile engineering techniques such as TDD and automated testing.What skills and experience we're after: A minimum of 5 years experience as a Business Analyst or Senior Business Analyst, with experience working as part of a product team.Proven problem analysis skills, requirements gathering and system analysis techniques.Able to communicate and collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, team members and external partners.Demonstrated experience in a Continuous Deployment environment.In depth software, technical and testing knowledge.Experience with performance and security testing.Demonstrated experience in delivering agile initiatives in high performing teams as a business analyst in a digital environment.Demonstrated analysis experience including the use of process mapping, user story creation and interpretation of product usage analytics data.Experience with emerging technologies & integrations i.e.
