We're hiring for a
Technical Solutions Engineer , but what actually is that?
The role is split into three categories:Internal software developmentClient facing engineering servicesProviding support to our Account Management and fulfilment teamsThis role is for engineers that love using technology to solve diverse problems and take on the role of developer, tech consultant, and platform specialist.
Excellent communication skills are a must along with the perseverance to solve problems that may not have obvious solutions.
You may need to "Think out of the box" or "hack around" a problem to solve it.
We like thatYou Will:Build innovative tools on top of advertising and analytics platforms to enhance the capabilities of our account management and specialist teamsProvide engineering services along the lines of data integration, platform migration, automating workflows and processes, tag audits and deployments, visualization, and cloud architecture consulting.Provide technical guidance on complicated platform and implementation issuesWrite technical documentation and provide training on the tools we build to other engineers and account managers across the globeQualifications and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or equivalent with 3 to 5 years of minimum experience in web-based technologyFront-end web development experience (JavaScript, CSS, HTML)Working knowledge of relational and non-relational databasesExpert knowledge of DOM and browser based network debuggingWorking knowledge of tag management toolsWorking knowledge of Cloud Platforms (GCP, AWS, etc.
)Hybrid mobile app or native iOS/Android development experience/familiarityAble to speak confidently about solutions to peers and other engineersAbility to translate technical concepts to non-technical peopleAbility to work collaboratively and independentlyAbility to prioritize a number of projects and collaborate across technical teams of different disciplinesAbility to design and estimate solutions for presentation to clientsBonus Points:Knowledge of display advertising principles (CPA, CTRs, CPMs, Impressions, etc.
)Automation Frameworks like headless Chrome (or phantomJS)Data Engineering, ETLReact JS development experienceExperience with Multivariate testing or A/B TestingMobile event tracking via Firebase and AppsflyerGoogle Analytics IQ Certification (highly desirable)Adobe Analytics Certification (highly desirable)Google Cloud Platform Data Architect Certification (highly desirable)Knowledge and experience with test-driven methodologiesTechnology Used:JavaScript, CSS, HTML, Node.js, Next.js, Nest.js, Python, SQL, React, React Native, Terraform, GitHub/CircleCI, Postman, Charles Proxy, Google Cloud Platform (Serverless applications, Big Query, Data Prep, GCS, Auto ML etc.
