We're the ideal choice for medical stays, business, or leisure.NEWLY CREATED ROLEWe have 2 x exciting new opportunities for Housekeeping Room Attendants to join our team based at Taringa on a permanent full-time basis.PURPOSE & RESPONSIBILITIESReporting to the Housekeeping Supervisor, your role as Housekeeping Room Attendant (RA) is to provide passionate, friendly, and professional service to all hotel guests and visitors whilst servicing & cleaning all allocated guest rooms ensuring all tasks are completed at or above the required standard and within the set timeframes.Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:Ensure a high standard of cleanliness of guest rooms, guest corridors, linen room/pantries according to procedure & checklistsComply with guest privacy and security proceduresResponsible for the master floor keys that you sign in & out each shift and ensure they remain secure throughout your shift and returned at the end of shiftAttend all briefings, meetings and training as assigned by managementManage guest complaints immediately if possible or escalate where necessary to the Housekeeping SupervisorUnderstand and ensure the safe usage and storage of cleaning/chemical agents in line with health & safety regulations.To be successful for this role:Can demonstrate minimum 12 months' experience in a similar roleAbility to use computer tablets and mobile phones for Housekeeping tasksGood oral and written proficiency in English languageHave the ability to multi-task, and work well in high pressure situationsA team player and supporter of the businessYou will be well presented and always professionally groomedAvailable to work full time (38 hours per week) across a Monday to Sunday rosterHold valid working rights in AustraliaBe willing to obtain a National Police CheckWHAT WE CAN OFFER YOUAmplify your potential, we offer a variety of opportunities for career progressionPersonal and professional development, through online and face to face training and coursesFocus on employee wellbeing to support mental, emotional, financial and physical health & wellbeing, including access to Employee Assistance ProgramsFull uniform providedInclusive culture in a diverse, collaborative and fun team environmentVarious leave options including two weeks paid parental leave, study leave & much moreStrong focus on employee engagement – annual feedback surveys, and access to our community platform (Viva Engage)Performance recognition programs and rewards: 'On-The-Spot' Awards, Quarterly Awards, Annual Awards Night, Employee Milestone RewardsFlu Vaccinations – Company FundedGenerous referral bonus (up to $1,000 AUD/NZD)Access to Insider Rates at Essence Hotels and ApartmentsJOIN OUR TEAMIf you are a skilled and results-driven professional with a proven track record in operational management, we would love to hear from you.
