Full time Downer's Energy & Utilities business unit is an integrated trans-Tasman team, providing services and solutions that connect communities to essential networks and infrastructure.
We design, build, operate and maintain today's critical assets and networks, delivering complete services across the water, electricity, telecommunications, industrial and power generation sectors.
Our expertise spans in-house technical smarts, specialist engineering, integrated OEM partners, and dedicated crews of qualified tradespeople.
Our newly formed Energy & Utilities business is seeking an experienced Solution Specialist to join our Telecommunications Unify team.
In this role, you will ensure works are allocated to the appropriate internal and external workforce whilst providing technical support for all field teams.
It will be your responsibility to ensure services are delivered in a timely manner whilst keeping the client informed of the progress.
This is a full-time permanent role that can be based in any location across Australia.
We offer flexible working and the ability to split your working week between WFH and one of our office locations.
Our ideal candidate: Proven experience in a similar role within the Telecommunications industry.Cert III in Telecommunications & Cert IV Train and Assess is preferred.NBN Enable Practical Assessor is highly regarded.Excellent communication skills enabling you to liaise and build relationships with multiple internal and external stakeholders.Have a customer-oriented focus with drive to achieve service-based outcomes.Some key responsibilities include: Contribute to the strategic direction of the business in line with the proposed approach.Ensure teams' capabilities are appropriate to achieve business goals.Establish and communicate clear, current and measurable goals.Build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.What's in it for you?
