Child Safety, Seniors and Disabilities

The purpose of the position is to lead the administrative team of the Information Access & Amendment Unit to deliver quality, professional and timely information access and amendment services for the public.
The Team Leader key responsibilities are:
Provide operational and strategic leadership, monitoring, management and quality assurance of the critical business deliverables of the administrative team and represent the Unit on internal and external working groups and committees.
Manage the human resources and operational activities of the administrative team, perform business reporting and ensure workplace health and safety standards are maintained.
Manage the development, implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement and review of corporate systems, policies and procedures to meet the current and future business needs of the unit.
Provide high level advice, coordination, support and recommendations to the Manager, Information Access & Amendment Unit regarding management and workgroup issues, and the operation and maintenance of the records management workflow system.
Develop and manage effective working relationships within the workgroup, management and external agencies, including internal and external clients.
Operate and maintain the case management system and train staff in the use of the system.
