Multidisciplinary team providing an intake function to vulnerable families10% gap discount for childcare services with Uniting Early Learning servicesIncrease take-home pay with access to $15,900 salary packing benefitsPermanent full time position based at CranbourneAbout the opportunity As an Orange Door Practitioner, working in a multidisciplinary integrated Orange Door agency team, you will deliver quality, safe, and effective responses to children, young people, and families experiencing family violence.
You will deliver intake support via phone, within the Orange Door site and through outreach visits.
In addition, you will:
Actively manage a caseloadDeliver screening and triage, assessment, crisis responses, service planning, targeted interventions, allocation and coordinated referralsWork collaboratively to support integrated risk assessment and planningApply for brokerage on behalf of clients when requiredRefer clients to services within the broader service system and provide them information and supportWhat's on offer In addition to receiving a salary equivalent to SCHADS Level 5 and superannuation, you'll also receive 17.5% leave loading and the ability to increase your take-home pay by accessing up to $15,900 in salary packaging benefits.
Uniting has an option for additional purchased leave to increase your annual leave entitlements.

About you You thrive in a dynamic environment, assessing and responding to children and families presenting with a range of issues at a time when they need support most.
You love that no day is ever the same and feel energized when you find referral pathways and empower individuals to be involved in developing their own support arrangement.
You will bring:
Bachelor of Social Work or equivalent as per the mandatory minimum qualification requirements for specialist family violence practitionersExperience, skills, and capabilities in child, youth, and families welfareWell-developed risk assessment and management skillsUnderstanding of the broader service system referral pathwaysSound understanding of the MARAM Framework, Best Interests Principles and the Children, Youth and Families Act 2005Valid and current Driver's LicenseHow to apply Click APPLY to submit your interest.
