About Us Hitachi Construction Machinery (Australia) Pty Ltd is a leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment.
The Opportunity With strong growth in our mining operations, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Digger Support Technician to join the team. This site based role would be scheduled on a FIFO roster of a 2/2 working both day and night shifts. Reporting to the Site Support Supervisor, main responsibilities include:
Providing quality and timely customer outcomes through diagnostic, maintenance, and repairs to a wide range of equipmentAttending to onsite site breakdowns and undertaking fault finding and diagnostic workMaintaining the important link between the customer and the company, ensuring a high level of technical product supportEnsuring the HCA Safety Culture is embraced and displayed and driven from withinTo be successful in this role, you will need:
Relevant diesel or plant mechanic trade qualifications with experience in the maintenance of Hitachi excavators'A strong safety focus with an understanding and ability to abide by site safety processes at all timesExcellent technical knowledge of Hitachi mining equipmentGood communication and customer service skills and the ability to build long term relationshipsHold High Risk Licences – EWP – WAH – Dogging & RiggingBenefits We are offering:
