Specific DutiesTo ensure Hexagon Mining technology solutions at client mine sites operate effectively and deliver tangible value to their mining operationsTo provide training, instruction and advice to our customers on the effective use and operation of Hexagon Mining technology solutionsTo repair, install, configure, commission and support electronic, microprocessor-based systems and radio communications equipment including issue identification and resolution for equipment based on our customer mine sites and on HxGN's premises.Major Areas of ResponsibilityDemonstrated customer service experienceDemonstrated experience troubleshooting and repairing electronics systemsDemonstrated work experience in on site installation, system configuration, commissioning, troubleshooting and repairBackground in industries such as electronics, radio, television, automotive, mining or similarSubstantial demonstrated experience in supporting, diagnosing and troubleshooting diverse and varied environments with a focus on electronic / electrical repairsYear 12 Senior Certificate or equivalentTrade certificate or equivalent in Electronics, Industrial Electronics, Instrumentation, CommunicationsSkills and Experience RequiredKeen interest in providing a superior level of customer service and support to our clientsWillingness to learn new skills and be trained in Hexagon Mining's productsAbility to work proactively with minimal supervisionAbility to work effectively in a team environmentStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong interpersonal and negotiation skillsMechanical aptitudeGood computing skills (firmware and software loading and management, troubleshooting, administration tasks and email)Basic knowledge / understanding of LANs, WANs, working with Linux OS Command Line Interface (desirable)What's on offerApart from a salary package that is commensurate with your skills and experience, you will also benefit from the following:
