OverviewAs a Return to Work (RTW) Specialist, you'll be a leader and expert in identifying and delivering recovery and RTW outcomes for all injury claims within your claims team.
You'll use your expertise to identify and triage claims that are at risk of exceeding expected return to work outcomes and timeframes.
You'll also work closely with the supporting case managers to identify Return to Work Barriers and positively drive a Return to Work Focus with Injured Workers and Employers.
You will utilise your knowledge and skillset in person-centred injury management and exceptional stakeholder communication skills to support workers significantly impacted by complex injuries back to work, and back to life, safely.
How you'll make an impactYour responsibilities will include: Providing leadership as key subject matter expert within your team relating to recovery and RTW, whilst supporting your team manager and wider leadership groupManaging a small portfolio of high-risk injury claims, supporting injured workers and employers with their recovery, RTW and return to healthSupporting Senior Case Managers with regular claim conferencingIdentifying biopsychosocial risk factors leading to strategic recovery whilst achieving RTW goalsIdentifying claims at risk of developing secondary psychological injuries whilst implementing appropriate strategic measures to support injured workers back to full functional capacityUndertaking RTW visits and treater case conferences (both virtually and in person) when required to support recovery and RTW outcomesApplying a person-centred management approach focusing on injured workers' needs, by setting recovery goals and supporting them to achieve theseAbout youWe're looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused RTW Expert who has: Workers Compensation scheme Claims Management experience, or significant RTW knowledge and experienceKnowledge of Personal Injury Management concepts relating to Victoria's Workers Compensation SchemeExcellent customer service skills and experienceTime management, administrative and organisational skillsExperience in leading people, teams or key initiatives as well as coaching and mentoring skillsTertiary qualification in an appropriate discipline and/or demonstrated experience in a similar role is also idealWhat we can offer you: Attractive remuneration packaging & flexible work arrangements including Work from HomePaid Parental LeaveCollaborative working environment – friendly, flexible and supportive working environment which is built around great team support and rewarding opportunitiesOpportunities for ongoing education and developmentA dedication to your wellbeing through our peer support program, corporate health insurance discounts and wellness programsStaff benefits including additional purchased leave, volunteer leave days, retail discounts and more"Thank-You" additional leave days and company-wide celebrations to reward your hard work and dedicationTo applyIf this sounds like the job for you, then we want to hear from you today
