By working slightly more than the minimum weekly hours (2 hours per week for full timers) you can accrue up to an extra 12 days of leave per year.Leidos Life Hub provides access to discount offers or cashback rewards with over 400 Australian and International retailers.Professional development and support to set you up for success and assist you in achieving your career aspirations.The opportunity:Leidos is experiencing rapid growth, as a result we are seeking talented System Administrators who hold a current TSPV clearance to support our exciting classified programs within the intelligence space.If you have a desire to expand your career in a dynamic and collaborative workplace that works on mission critical classified programs, encourages innovation, with a work scope that provides a real sense of purpose, then this role is for youThe roles can be based in Melbourne CBD, Scoresby and Canberra.In this role:Your primary focus is to maintain the smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network administrators including:Providing overall management of large scale operational systemsUndertaking systems administration tasks in support of major databases and applicationsProviding level 2/3 support to users and customer management personnel on systems technical issuesRecommending, implementing, installing and maintaining appropriate technology to meet client needsDefining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, drawing valid conclusions and preparing appropriate reportsDetecting, isolating and resolving automated information system problems.What You'll Bring:Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, the desire to support mission critical classified programs and Systems Administration experience in any of the following:UNIX Administration – Solaris and/or LinuxWindows Administration – Client (Win7) and server (2003/2008/2012/2019)Oracle or similar database experience would be advantageousNetApp and SAN administrationVirtual applications – App-V, VSphereAbility to create advertisement, collections and packages within a SCCM environmentPatch management WSUSScripting – Active Perl, PowerShellDue to the nature of work we do for our customers, all applicants are required to be Australian Citizens and hold a TSPV (Positive Vetting) clearance.Applicants may also need to meet International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements.
