Carpenter Sandstone Constructions Pty Ltd Liverpool NSW 2170 $75,000- $85,000 Per Annum Full Time (38 Hours Per week) Sandstone Constructions is a leading provider of high-quality construction services, specializing in custom build residential projects.
We have built a solid reputation for delivering exceptional craftsmanship, innovative designs, and reliable project management.
We currently have a fantastic opportunity as we are seeking experienced skilled carpenters for a full-time permanent position who are passionate about working within the construction industry.
This is a Full-Time role, based at Sandstone Constructions.
Please note due to the nature of this role, a rotation of morning, evening, weekend and public holiday work may be required from time to time to meet operational requirements.
Key ResponsibilitiesCutting wood joints, shaping, and fitting timber parts to form structures and fittingsForming and instructing structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboardPutting the prepared wood together to form structures and fittings ready to be installedStudying sketches and designs to determine requirements, dimensions, and installation proceduresCutting materials, and assembling and nailing cut and shaped partsNailing exterior wall, door, and window framesFixing existing fittingsConstructing concrete formworkPurchasing and selecting materials necessary, and preparing layoutsWorking with plastic laminates, Perspex, plastic, and metalsErecting framework and roof framing, verifying the trueness of structures.Key Skills and QualificationsMinimum 2+ Years of Experience as a CarpenterAbility to take direction, give direction, and mentor people around youA pride for their craftsmanshipA Certificate III in Carpentry/ Qualified CarpenterDiploma of Building and Construction (Highly Regarded)Strong time management and organisational skillsExceptional attention to detailAbility to multitask and work as part of a wider teamStrong autonomy and the ability to innovate and self-motivateStrong Leadership and Communication skillsStrong Understanding and Focus on Work Safety and Hygiene RegulationsWhy Join Us?Sandstone Constructions Pty Ltd provides a dynamic and supportive workplace where craftsmanship and professional growth are at the heart of everything we do.
