About the organizationOur client is a leader in their field as a major construction product manufacturer.
Supporting some major tier 1 and tier 2 construction projects, our client is a growing organization and has recently opened new offices interstate and regionally.
Job Overview:The Contract Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the contractual aspects of our construction projects.
This includes the preparation, negotiation, and administration of construction contracts to ensure compliance with legal requirements, minimize risk, and safeguard the company's interests.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of construction contracts, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts (e.g., subcontractor agreements, supplier agreements, and client contracts)Ensure all contracts comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policiesProvide guidance and support to project teams regarding contract terms and conditionsIdentify potential risks in contract terms and collaborate with stakeholders to develop mitigation strategiesManage contract lifecycle, including renewals, amendments, and closeoutsLiaise with legal counsel to resolve contract disputes and claimsMonitor contract performance to ensure all parties are fulfilling their contractual obligationsMaintain accurate and up-to-date records of all contract-related documentsWork closely with project managers and senior management to align contracts with project goalsStay current on construction industry trends, standards, and regulations to ensure best practices in contract managementAbout you A bachelor's degree in construction, law, or relevant experience.Proven experience with contract management in the construction industryExperience with construction methodologiesFamiliarity with industry standardsAbility to manage multiple tenders and priorities at one timeIf you would like to apply for this role, please press 'apply now' or alternatively get in contact with Liam Scott at or .
