Our client, a leading engineering consultancy, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team and oversee a variety of exciting mining projects.
This role is ideal for a professional with a strong project delivery background, who thrives in dynamic and challenging environments.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage mining engineering projects from initiation to completion, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and time constraints.
Oversee the technical, financial, and regulatory aspects of mining projects, ensuring all requirements are met to the highest standards.
Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and project teams to define project objectives, develop detailed plans, and ensure smooth execution.
Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to project teams, ensuring alignment with project goals and best practices.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, delivering exceptional customer service and driving project success.
Manage project risks and implement corrective actions as necessary to ensure successful project outcomes.
Essential Requirements: Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
Significant experience (5+ years) managing and delivering engineering projects in the mining sector.
Strong background in engineering consultancy, with a focus on mining or heavy industry-related projects.
Proven ability to successfully lead and manage large-scale, complex projects from start to finish.
In-depth knowledge of the technical, financial, and regulatory requirements specific to mining projects.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and navigate complex challenges in project delivery.
