Analysis & Reporting (Banking & Financial Services) Full time 5 weeks annual leave – 17.5% leave loadingEmployee discount on health insurance6 months paid parental leaveAbout the role The Senior Actuarial Analyst will leverage analytical skills and assist to drive strategic decision-making and optimise our financial performance.
This role will provide specialist actuarial assistance, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and conducting detailed analyses on financial performance, risk, and membership.
Responsibilities: Actuarial reporting and analysis for internal and external stakeholdersManaging the Financial Projection ModelProviding insights and recommendations on strategic issuesResearch on private health insurance operations, including dental and optical businessCompliance obligationsSkills & Experience: Relevant experience in Actuarial and Financial modeling, preferably in the PHI industryExperience working with finance/product teamsStrong analytical and quantitative skillsEffective communication with internal and external stakeholdersProficiency in PHI policy and legislationUnderstanding of industry practices in health insuranceProficiency in data analysis tools and methodologiesAbout us Westfund is changing the way Australians see private health insurance.
