ESS is the market leading support services division of Compass Group, partnering with major companies throughout the oil and gas, mining and construction, and defence sectors.We are currently seeking an experienced Health & Wellbeing Coordinator for a permanent role at our remote villages in and around Moomba, South Australia.The ideal candidate will be an energetic and enthusiastic health, fitness and lifestyle professional and be able to work 14 days on, 7 days off, performing 12 hour days.Our Tastelife program is recognised worldwide and links all the elements of healthy eating, education, exercise and lifestyle activities to give a holistic approach to ensure residents mental and physical wellbeing.Flights, accommodation and meals all provided ex Brisbane or South Australia only.The Position Plan and deliver engaging social events on siteConduct a variety of group fitness activities and classes for residentsImplement and assist in the coordination of company-wide health initiativesMonitor and maintain all sporting, leisure and recreational activities / facilities on siteConduct Health Assessments and Gym Inductions for residentsProvide educational seminars as requiredEnsure communication and reporting processes are followedThe PersonA Certificate IV in Fitness, Diploma of Sport and Recreation or health related degree is essentialMinimum 12 months experience in a similar environmentCurrent first aid and CPR certificatesAustralian manual driver's licence (preferred)Passion for physical and mental health and fitnessPrevious experience conducting group fitness activities and classesStrong communication and interpersonal skillsExperience in technical aspects of gym and recreation facilitiesHigh level focus on engagement with Clients and village residentsEvents coordinationHealth promotion backgroundThe BenefitsYou will have the support, infrastructure, systems and processes you would expect from a global organisation.
