About the role: A rare opportunity has come up for an Industrial Deafness Specialist in the Legal Services team.
The primary responsibility of this role is to manage Industrial Deafness claims (including claims for permanent impairment and hearing aids).
You will bring your case management experience and proactive attitude to achieve the best possible commercial outcomes for CMI.
Your main responsibilities will include: Manage industrial deafness claims in compliance with relevant timeframesDevelop strategies on and manage litigation proceedings in collaboration with the Legal SpecialistsAssess claims for hearing aids and permanent impairmentEnsure CMI Claims System is kept up to date with accurate informationCollaborate with Account Managers and Claims Lead to ensure appropriate communication with policy holders is undertakenAbout you: Your education, experience and skills will include: Minimum 3 years' experience in Workers Compensation industryExperience managing litigated claims is highly desirableDemonstrated strength in customer serviceWell-developed written communication skills (clear and concise document writing)Highly organised with clear sense of urgency in implementing claims strategiesAbility to take on feedback and action accordinglyWhat we offer: Check out our Benefits page to learn more about our Employee Value PropositionFriendly and supportive team culturePermanent, full-time role7.25-hour days, Monday to Friday5 weeks annual leave plus 20% leave loading18 days personal leave & 3 days family and emergency leavePaid Parental Leave for permanent employees (super paid on paid parental leave)Superannuation co-contribution schemeAdditional company holidays at Easter and ChristmasAccess to onsite gym and onsite parkingProfessional Development daysReward and Recognition program to celebrate your successRetailer discounts through Smart Spending AppAccess to Employee Assistance Program and novated leasingAbout us: Coal Services is a Specialised Health and Safety Scheme that provides an integrated suite of services to help identify, assess, monitor, and control many risks inherent in the NSW coal mining industry.
