We will assess your experience, knowledge and acquired skills, as well as your potential for development and your personal qualities.To thrive in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following:Deep understanding of the technology stack and best practices in software development.High level knowledge of integration best practices.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Experience in mentoring and supporting other technical resources and DevOps engineers in best practice.Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies.Taking personal responsibility for meeting objectives and progressing work.Showing initiative and proactively stepping in and doing what is required.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders.Some of your key responsibilities will include:Performing a lead role in the design, implementation, management, and system support for the QSS SAP BTP solution, including addressing technical challenges, optimizing processes and ensuring the team adheres to agile methodologies.Keeping informed of emerging opportunities within the SAP BTP platform by maintaining up to date industry knowledge to provide expert advice within the team.Developing and communicating the technical implementation to the team and stakeholders, ensuring that technical solutions are aligned with business objectives.Providing expert guidance on the architecture and design of systems, ensuring they are scalable, sustainable, and optimized for both performance and cost.Developing and maintaining technical implementations that adhere to legislative directives and security requirements to ensure compliance and protect against potential risks.Providing leadership in a multi-disciplinary professional team, undertaking tasks, mentoring and supporting team members and contributing to team events.Developing and/or contributing to the development, implementation and monitoring of team planning and schedules, including the coordination of activities or teams associated with achieving the team objectives.Identifying potential risks and dependencies related to technical requirements and working collaboratively with the team to mitigate them.Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of technical requirements, specifications, and any relevant domain knowledge. Ensuring that documentation is easily accessible and comprehensible to all team members.Mandatory qualifications and conditions - nil, however the following will be highly regarded:Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.Strong understanding of Scrum framework and agile methodologies.Due to this role having access to sensitive data, a criminal history check will be undertaken prior to appointment to the role.Applications to remain current for 12 months.Job Ad Reference: QLD/605957/24Closing Date: Monday, 09 December 2024
