We're looking for a dynamic, confident, and ambitious Full-Time Duty Manager to join our Front Office Team at Crowne Plaza Hawkesbury Valley .
Nestled in the scenic Hawkesbury River Valley, just 45 minutes from Sydney, our hotel offers a unique blend of indulgence and urban convenience.
From conferences and romantic retreats to group getaways, our resort-style property provides unforgettable guest experiences across 8 hectares of landscaped gardens, luxurious accommodations, and exclusive spa services.
About the Role:
As Duty Manager , you will report directly to the Front Office Manager and play a critical role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the hotel.
This includes supporting and supervising the Reception and Concierge teams, handling guest inquiries, and ensuring personalized service delivery throughout the property.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead front office operations, ensuring seamless guest experiences.
Respond promptly to guest requests and issues, providing proactive solutions.
Oversee and mentor front office team members, fostering development and excellence.
Perform night audit shifts a few times per week , ensuring accurate financial reconciliation and smooth overnight operations.
Collaborate with all departments to ensure smooth transitions across shifts.
About You:
An approachable person with a real passion for providing connecting and seamless service to ensure a memorable guest experience.
A minimum of 2 years ' experience in a hotel Front Office position, with exposure to both front desk and reservations procedures.
Demonstrated highly developed interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal, with a willingness to manage multiple tasks, conflicting deadlines, and varying guest situations.
Comfortable working night audit shifts as part of your regular roster.
Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
Proficiency in hotel management systems (e.g., Opera ).
Current NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA ) certification.
Flexibility to work on a rotating roster including weekdays, weekends, public holidays, and the upcoming festive season period.
You must also meet the legal requirements to work in this country.
