Spark Event Group is recruiting for a range of casual staff to join our Major Event's Team for the 2025 Australian Open.
We are seeking people who are highly motivated, possess a can-do attitude, show initiative, and have a passion to make the event experience as great as it can be for patrons

We are recruiting for a range of positions including: Arena & Show Court UshersTurnstile StaffLift AssistantsHydration StaffRelief StaffContingency StaffWorkforce Services / Staff Sign OnIf your application is successful, you will have the opportunity to work throughout the Australian Open from 12th - 26th January 2025 including nights and weekends. It is essential that you make yourself available for the first 11 days of the tournament from 12th – 23rd January. Qualities we seek out: You are passionate about the Sports, Events, and Entertainment IndustryYou are motivated, and possess a can-do attitude towards making the event experience as great as it can be for patronsYou are friendly, positive, outgoing, and have great communication skillsYou are a great team player who knows how to cooperate effectively with the teamThe ability to work collaboratively and achieve role goals is a mustYou display empathy, cultural awareness, and align with the values of excellence, humility, loyalty, and teamworkYou actively seek to understand the views of others to ensure everyone at each event you work on feels included, including patrons and your teammatesYou are willing to learn, grow, and make your positive mark in eventsMandatory Requirement - Valid paid employee Working with Children's Check (WWCC)
Candidates MUST have or be willing to obtain a valid paid employee Working with Children's Check upon successfully securing a role.
