We can't wait to see what you've got.About the roleWhat You'll Do:Plan, organise and execute a variety of events from start to finish.Collaborate with the Venue Manager/Head Chef to execute Event Orders and organise run sheets and schedules.Report to F&B Manager on the overall performance of the C&E department.Work closely with hotel Sales & Events team on execution of each event.Ensure all functions and events meet the venue's premium standards while staying within budget.Lead a team of enthusiastic staff to ensure every event runs smoothly and exceeds expectations.Build strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.Continuously seek ways to enhance the quality of functions and events.Stay updated on industry trends to maintain a competitive edge.Who You Are:A professional with previous experience in event planning or management.A creative thinker who thrives under pressure and is a problem solver.A people person with excellent communication and leadership skills.Organized, detail-oriented, and ready to juggle multiple projects, especially in our busy periods.Skills & ExperienceDemonstrated experience in a similar role as a conference / banqueting leadership role for 2 years.Demonstrated experience in a similar role as a function & events leadership role for 2 years.The ability to work under pressure in a busy and dynamic F&B space.Passion for culinary excellence & sound knowledge of current food trends.Excellent presentation and exceptional communication skills.At EVT, we want our people to experience our businesses and be brand and experience advocates.
