The Role A career defining opportunity has become available for a highly experienced industry professional to take on a key leadership role overlooking Crown's major or VIP Events and Conferences.
Based in Melbourne and reporting into the General Manager, the Senior Events & Conferences Manager will provide leadership & support to the team in managing its $50 million portfolio to ensure Crown remains at the forefront in delivering successful, world-class events & conferences.
In this role, you'll create joyful experiences through your genuine care for guests.
As well as:
Lead your management team through effective allocation of conferences and events, ensuring all processes and standards are being maintained as well as providing training/mentoring.Partner with the General Manager in decision making as well as developing/delivering strategies to maximise events revenue & profitability.Provide high-level support throughout the event management cycle: inquiries, floor plans, event orders, F&B packages, site inspections, contracting, handovers to operational teams etc.Manage and monitor all associated department costs within budgets whilst looking for revenue generating opportunities.Manage all communications, establish strong rapport and maintain relationships with clients as well as internal stakeholders.About you Established Events & Conferences Management experience in a similar large-scale environment.A genuine passion for events management with an unwavering focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences.Strong leadership, organisation, time management and attention to detail skills.Adaptable in high pressure situations and open to change if the business requires.Strong computer literacy skills including strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent written and verbal communication skills to liaise with guests and stakeholders at all levels.What we offer you High annual salary plus bonus incentive based on performance goals.The incredible opportunity to elevate your career in managing our $50 million events portfolio.Complimentary onsite meals, discounted parking as well as discounts across restaurants & hotels.Additional InformationApplications Close: Saturday 30th November 2024 What you can expect from us On top of exciting career possibilities, we offer better exposure to experiences and learning.
