This is a fast-paced, dusty work environment where previous production experience and flexibility with availability would be highly beneficial.This Casual position involves working on an Morning Shift roster: Monday through Friday, from 6am to 2:15pm.Responsibilities include:Handling rock, core and drill chipsOperating sample preparation equipment – crushers, pulverizers, splitters, and weigh scalesPerforming routine manual/labouring tasks, including lifting and being on your feet all-dayNumerical sorting and labelling of samplesWearing mandatory personal protective equipment (PPE) including a respiratorWorking as part of a team to achieve daily production targetsThis is a residential role, and you must be residing in or planning to relocate to Orange - NSW with current Australian work rights to be considered.The essentialsBe physically and mentally fit and prepared to carry out repetitive manual tasksBe reliable, responsible and show excellent attendance at workHave good verbal and writing skills – especially number recognitionCorrectly follow instructions and procedures (incl.
