With this in mind, if you feel that you may not tick all of the boxes below but believe you have something unique to contribute to our team, we strongly encourage you to apply – let's have the conversation.We are now seeking a Geology Technician to join our team at our Tropicana Gold Mine on a 12-month fixed term contract.Accountable to the Exploration Supervisor, this role provides support to the Geology team through the allocation of tasks/activities and resources as prioritised and directed by the Exploration Supervisor or delegated Leading Hands.This role is based at the Tropicana Gold Mine on an 8/6 FIFO roster from Perth or Kalgoorlie.Accountabilities:Undertake Regional Exploration tasksSet up regional camps under the guidance of Leading Hand ExplorationUndertake camp audits with the Supervisor Exploration or Leading Hand ExplorationCarry out sample processing.
Collect & record field samples, Create SDO's for onsite and offsite labs and prepare samples for transportationAssist other departments as directed by Leading Hand: Exploration or Supervisor: ExplorationAbout YouPeople are at the heart of everything we do.
