Having established relationships with several high-profile repeat clients and a pipeline of work commencing, this company is seeking to employ a driven Site Safety Officer to oversee the delivery of current and upcoming projects from start to finish in the ACT.About the PositionAs a Site Safety Officer, you will help to advocate safe work practices.
You will monitor operations to eliminate hazardous activities and develop policies to promote occupational health and safety awareness.DutiesAdvise on provisions to minimize safety risksDirect accident investigation proceduresKeep records of safety-related incidents and propose corrective actionsCollaborate with managers to monitor compliance and identify safety issuesSkills & ExperienceProven experience as a safety coordinator or similarExperience in reporting and developing policiesExcellent communication and advisory skillsDiligent with an analytical mindCultureThis company boasts a culture that promotes inclusion, fairness, recognition, and supportive management that brings out the very best in their employees.
