The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) implements the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), which is one of the biggest social reforms in the country since Medicare. As an Agency, we support more than 600,000 participants with a significant and permanent disability, and the families and carers of those living with disability. The NDIA is designed to enhance the quality of life and increase economic and social participation for people with disability.Please note: Affirmative Measures provisions are open for this position to improve employment opportunities for people with a disability in the Australian Public Service.A new role awaitsThe Performance, Workload Planning, and Quality Branch ensures a high-quality participant experience by implementing Continuous Improvement (CI), a Performance Management Framework (PMF), and various performance management activities. This branch evaluates the consistency and quality of operational activities against established standards, procedures, and practices throughout the participant value chain.The EL2 Director Quality is a crucial leadership role within the NDIA, holding delegated authority and responsibility to address issues and risks across a wide range of detailed activities. This role involves providing leadership, control, planning, resource management, performance management, and decision-making for team members and assigned contractors.The position demands a high degree of independence, utilizing advanced decision-making and judgment.
