What you'd be doing in this role: As Canva scales, change continues to be part of our DNA.
We are looking for someone super-efficient, who loves nothing more than to anticipate needs before they arise and loves to get stuff done.
We'd love to work with you if you're great at prioritizing, juggling projects, working with diverse stakeholders and teams, and keeping calm under pressure.
This team has grown to 900 members over the last few years, becoming increasingly complex and dynamic.
Working in this space means managing a vast array of ever-shifting priorities and challenges, including:
Coordinating across multiple teams (both global and local) to achieve country and company wide goalsNavigating chaos to clarity as you lead specific country goalsForecasting, planning and managing significant budgetsCollaborating with established and newly formed teamsBalancing immediate tactical needs with longer-term strategiesBy its very nature, the Leadership Ops Partner role evolves as the business evolves.
Anyone coming into this role should be prepared to work in an evolving environment, comfortable with some level of ambiguity, and be prepared to juggle multiple competing priorities.
At the moment, this role is focused on:
Strategic Partner: Act as a key partner to the Country Manager, providing strategic input and driving progress.Driving Country Performance: Spotting opportunities and designing an elevated Future State.Goal Ownership and Problem Solving: Taking responsibility for key country goals and initiatives.Prioritization and Triaging: Acting as the primary gateway for requests and priorities.Project Management and Execution: Proactively spotting opportunities and managing cross-functional projects.Day-to-Day Operations: Managing the Country Manager's calendar and day-to-day operations.Coaching and Team Development: Leading and coaching the Country Operations team.Review and Feedback: Taking ownership of preliminary reviews and feedback on key documents.Canva Values and Collaboration: Fostering clear communication and collaboration.Be a Real People Person: Building strong relationships with key stakeholders.You're probably a match if: You have 7+ years of experience in strategy, planning, or operations within HR/People, Strategy, and Business spaces.You're self-motivated with a desire to learn and grow.You have a strong bias for action and strive to get things done.You have great visual communication and design skills.You thrive on communicating cross-functionally.About the team This opportunity sits within the People Supergroup and will be a partner to our Country Manager.
