About the position Located in Wests Mayfield, The Texas Bar-B-Q Grill restaurant menu is packed with slow smoked ribs and wings, burgers, pizzas, and prime-grade, hand-trimmed, naturally aged steaks and classic steakhouse sides and of course desserts
Our Texas Bar-B-Q Grill Restaurant currently has a full-time Restaurant Manager opportunity available for a customer-focused individual to join the fun and friendly team.
Key responsibilities include: Lead and inspire a dynamic team to provide outstanding service and maintain a welcoming atmosphere.
Oversee daily operations, ensuring quality service standards are consistently met.
Foster a positive and supportive work environment that encourages team growth and collaboration.
Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control to maintain profitability.
Implement training programs and conduct performance evaluations to develop team members.
Engage with guests to ensure satisfaction and handle any concerns with professionalism.
Rostering requirements and shift coverage.
Follow RSA government legislation requirements.
Maintain cleanliness of front of house areas.
About you We're excited to hear from you if you: Have previous experience in restaurant management or a similar role, preferably in a casual dining environment, or have at least 2 years' experience in a restaurant supervisory position.
Have demonstrated commitment to service excellence.
Lead by example and are willing to embrace the Wests Group values.
Have demonstrated experience in mentoring and developing colleagues.
Have strong emotional intelligence and the ability to get the best out of your team.
Can resolve conflict intelligently and appropriately.
This position will require availability Tuesday – Saturday.
Closed Public holidays
Certifications required: RSA.
