Project Managers with D+C experience in commercial fit-out are rare and in demandThis company is currently looking for such a PM and will hold out until they find one; you're that important.
So, if this is you and you're looking to work with a business that is thriving in this market, read on.You will deliver predominantly office fit-out projects, but the business has recently expanded into other sectors.
A lab fit-out is currently underway, and they are working on a $35m industrial project, which is their largest project to date.
Most fit-outs are 'build' only, where a consultant or external architect leads the design.
The difference is that the designers are in-house; you will work with them and lead and develop projects from the very outset.CAs, PCs, and a site manager will support you, along with a GM who goes to great lengths to support her team and provide a culture that is not only developmental but also fun.
There are regular one-on-ones designed to make sure you're on the right track and hitting your KPIs, but also to hear your feedback and ensure you feel valued within the business.The directors train on construction methodology each quarter.The team regularly hangs out on Fridays, celebrates birthdays and social events, and has an in-house reward system as an extra incentive for doing a great job.
They have robust processes and utilise Procore and Hammertech.To be considered for this opportunity, you must have at least three years of experience as a CA before becoming a PM, and you will have a minimum of two years delivering office fit-outs as a PM with a head contractor, to be considered.Design experience, particularly with an in-house team, would be advantageous.If interested, please apply on seek or email your CV directly to .
