Companies like Linktree, Meshki, Blenders Eyewear, and Saturn partner with Influx to make their support teams fast, flexible, and scalable while maintaining or improving their customer service.
Our service is month-to-month (think AWS for customer service), with approachable service models for startups, scaleups, and Enterprise clients.
About the role: This is a global role, with Influx looking to hire a Head of Security.
At a high level, we want to:
Enhance Influx's cyber securityIncrease clients' confidence through Influx information & data securityCreate new value through added cybersecurity products and/or servicesReporting to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), this is a unique opportunity to join a small, but mighty executive and leadership group, with large, global impact.
What We Bring to The TableA 100% work-from-home opportunity: We have been operating remotely for the past 10 years and are proud of our high-performance work environment that supports a life outside of work.Make an impact: You'll have the chance to shape our security infrastructure for the now and the future.Global Role: Collaborative culture in servicing international clients, working alongside talented individuals, and providing high-quality customer experience with your expertise.What We're Looking For8+ years of working experience in the IT security industry.5+ years of executive or management-level experience in systems security in consulting or operationsExperience in information security management.Strong understanding of IT governance, security, and risk management.Exceptional written and verbal skills in English.Able to lead policy development and implementation across the organization.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients & stakeholders at all levels.Serve as an expert advisor to promote company-wide information security design practices, policy, and control frameworks.Open-mindedness, and the ability and willingness to work with people from various cultures and ways of life.Bonus PointsAdditional Cybersecurity certification (e.g., CISSP, GSEC, CCISO) is highly regarded.Experience with governance and compliance frameworks such as ISO27001, SOC2.Familiarity with data protection laws such as GDPR, HIPAA.How We Operate / Our ValuesTreat others as you would like to be treated.Do what you say you're going to do.
