Permanent part time opportunity to deliver high quality, evidence-based occupational therapy services across the continuum of care to patients and families of STARS, as part of an interprofessional, collaborative team.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Provide expert guidance to planning and lead implementation of evidence-based reviews and service evaluation activities to support continuous quality improvement and maintenance of clinical practice standards within the occupational therapy service and within specific clinical service areas, including multidisciplinary teams.
Apply high-level communication, advocacy and interpersonal skills to consult with partners and work collaboratively with patients, parents/carers, multi-disciplinary team members and agencies to meet service goals and enhance health outcomes.
Lead and manage staff by fostering and committing to patient safety and quality delivery of healthcare and service evaluation.
