You'll provide technical expertise, support operational improvements, and drive innovation to enhance efficiency and reliability.
Collaborating with a dedicated team of professionals, your contributions will ensure high-quality water supply to our customers and communities.Please note the salary starts at $81,172 base + 11.5% super, with banding determined commensurate with qualifications and expertise.ResponsibilitiesReview and optimize water treatment plant operations to meet compliance standards.Provide process and technical support to enhance performance and operational outcomes.Assist in the design, commissioning, and implementation of new water treatment facilities.Maintain and continuously improve the Water Quality Management System.Collaborate with stakeholders to address risks and identify improvement opportunities.Produce performance reports and provide technical advice to operators and stakeholders.Skills & ExperienceA degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental, or Civil Engineering specializing in water or wastewater treatment.Experience in water treatment operations or a related field.Strong technical knowledge in water planning, environmental management, and asset operations.Analytical mindset with critical thinking and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders.See yourself thriveOur vision for GWW is Thriving People and Country.
