Mechanical Site Manager About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Site Manager to oversee the mechanical aspects of a large-scale residential development.
The successful candidate will lead the mechanical installation teams on-site, ensuring high-quality standards are met while adhering to project timelines and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities: Manage and supervise the mechanical installations for all phases of a large-scale residential project, including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and gas systems. Coordinate with other site managers, contractors, and sub-contractors to ensure smooth project execution. Oversee project scheduling, ensuring all mechanical work meets the required deadlines and milestones. Ensure all mechanical work complies with relevant codes, standards, and specifications. Conduct regular inspections to monitor work progress, quality, and safety compliance. Provide on-site technical support and guidance to the mechanical team. Liaise with the project management team to report progress, issues, and potential delays. Manage material orders, deliveries, and storage of mechanical components. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on-site. Qualifications and Experience: Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent qualification. A minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Mechanical Site Manager or similar role in large-scale residential construction projects. Proven expertise in mechanical systems installation, including HVAC, plumbing, and gas systems within residential buildings. Experience managing large teams and working collaboratively with multiple trades on-site. Strong knowledge of building codes and residential construction standards. Health & Safety certification (SMSTS or equivalent) is essential. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to problem-solve on the go. Familiarity with project management software and reporting tools is advantageous. Strong organizational skills with a focus on detail and quality.
