About Us Perfectly located on the banks of the river and a stone's throw to the Botanic Gardens, the Stamford Plaza is Brisbane's finest 5 Star luxury Hotel and the flagship for Stamford Hotels & Resorts.
Our unique location is second to none in the Brisbane market, with all 252 guest rooms featuring stunning river views.
The Hotel houses eight magnificent function rooms used to hold an array of Corporate, Special Events & Weddings and additionally hosts a variety of busy food and beverage outlets.
About the Role: Stamford Plaza Brisbane is seeking casual F&B Attendants experienced in Japanese cuisine, to join our team in the Kabuki Japanese Restaurant.
You will be responsible for providing dramatic food service with flair & theatre to our discerning guests in an authentic Japanese style.
You are also responsible for smooth and efficient service, ensuring the highest food & general safety standards.
Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain high levels of customer service. Attend to all guest needs in a polite and cheerful manner. Experience in preparing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for bar and restaurant guests would be beneficial. Work various shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays. Take food and beverage orders accurately. Deliver food and drinks in an efficient and confident manner. What We Need from You: Previous experience in Food & Beverage/ Bar attending in a 5-star Hotel environment. Be organised and have an eye for detail. Be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment while constantly maintaining a calm demeanour. Ability to build strong customer relationships. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Previous experience in bartending is desirable. Bilingual abilities (Japanese) are favored but not essential. Must have RSA Certificate. Must have Food Safety Handling Certificate (from either unit SITXFSA005 or SITXFSA006). Must have legal rights to work in Australia. Must have experience working in a previous Japanese restaurant / teppanyaki. You Will: Be available to work weekends, public holidays and split shifts for lunch and dinner service. Be an excellent and confident communicator. Enjoy working in a team environment. Be dedicated to providing 5-star customer service with flair & showmanship. Take pride in personal presentation and hygiene.
