AIC Mines Limited (AIC Mines) is a growth-focused mining company.

AIC Mines is currently performing a brownfields expansion involving the Jericho deposit which neighbours our Eloise Copper Mine.
Eloise is an underground copper mine with conventional crushing and floatation that makes a high-quality copper concentrate.
AIC is developing the Jericho deposit via the Jericho underground mine link and an expansion of the Eloise processing plant and associated non-processing infrastructure; collectively named the Jericho Project.
Eloise and Jericho complement our portfolio of copper and gold exploration projects in Queensland, South Australia, and Western Australia.
We see a bright future for copper which will play a critical role in the transition to green energy.
About the Role: AIC Mines is seeking a Commercial Manager based in our Sydney head office to oversee the end-to-end commercial process from procurement management planning and design to the development, letting, and management of various project packages and contracts in coordination with package leads.
The role will report directly to the Jericho Project Director and will also provide commercial support to the Eloise Copper Mine operation.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: Tendering and contract award: letting, assessing, negotiating, and awarding work, including customising contracts to suit the specific needs of the project while adhering to legal and industry standards.Management of project controls, project scheduling, and project reporting.Procurement management planning and execution: create, implement, and manage a comprehensive procurement management plan that aligns with project schedules and objectives.Package register and scope division: develop a package register, detailing each package's scope and the division of responsibilities.Tender and contract documentation: develop project-specific forms and packs for tender and contract documentation and processes.Preparation and coordination of project reporting to the AIC Mines executive and board.Manage and coordinate risk management and cost control.The position will require some infrequent travel to the project location in North-West Queensland considering key stakeholders are based onsite.

When onsite, accommodation is provided at the Eloise Copper Mine 65km from Cloncurry.
About You: Bachelor or postgraduate qualification(s) in law or engineering.Minimum 5+ years commercial experience on mining or civil projects/operations.Demonstrated experience in commercial project delivery.Autonomous and strategic self-starter with a wide breadth of commercial and procurement experience.Strong communicator able to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.Proficient in MS Office suite and project software.Next Steps: Please apply by clicking the APPLY link below.
