Credit Supervisor

Accounts Receivable/Credit Control (Accounting) We have an exciting opportunity for a Credit Supervisor to join our Head Office finance team.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing all credit functions across our companies in Australia.
The key responsibilities of the role will include but are not limited to:
Develop, implement, and continually optimize the corporate credit policy.Manage and streamline financial transactions.Continuously update and monitor the credit granting process, ensuring compliance with established policies.Escalate action on overdue accounts.Manage bad debt process and liaise with debt collection agency.Weekly and monthly reporting to Finance Manager.Assess the creditworthiness of potential and existing customers.Strong reconciliation skills and attention to detail.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Customer Service, and Finance, to resolve customer issues and disputes.Responsible for debtor ledgers across all companies.Responsibility for managing all credit functions.Month End Reporting.Oversee the Accounts Receivable Team.Approve refunds, adjustments, credit limit increases, and new customer trading accounts.Administrative duties to support the finance team.A successful candidate for this role will:
To be successful in this position you will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.
You will be an excellent communicator, a team player, and have a passion for enhancing customer experience.
You will be systems savvy and possess an intermediate level of Excel skills.
Similar experience in a Credit role.Great verbal and written communication.Strong negotiation and out-of-the-box problem solving.Ability to build relationships with different stakeholders of the business.Be resilient, open, and honest in dealings.Strong experience utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.We have a great team environment where there is a hands-on approach to all that needs to be done.
