Based in Sydney's inner west, this business has been delivering top-tier concrete services for over five decades, specialising in concrete pumping, spray pumping, anchoring, and civil projects.
As a key executive, you will report directly to the board, playing a pivotal role in defining the company's strategic vision and operational goals.
Leading a dedicated team of approximately 50 employees and managing a fleet of 20 vehicles, you will focus on driving sustainable growth and achieving critical financial milestones.
This is a fast-paced, dynamic role that offers the opportunity to tackle diverse challenges daily.
You'll collaborate with an experienced leadership team with strong financial acumen to ensure the consistent attainment of business objectives.
Tasks & Responsibilities Lead strategic expansion by broadening and diversifying operations across New South Wales.Drive business growth through targeted initiatives and strategic partnerships within the construction and manufacturing sectors.Design and execute sales strategies to meet revenue objectives while sustaining a strong market position.Manage profit and loss performance, conduct financial analyses, and implement cost-efficiency measures to optimise profitability.Deliver expert technical support to customers in rural and construction industries, building trust in product quality and applications.Collaborate closely with the board to establish strategic priorities and align expansion efforts with organisational objectives.Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to guide product innovation and sales planning.Cultivate a forward-thinking sales culture focused on innovation, teamwork, and a dedication to outstanding performance.Qualifications & Experience Demonstrated success in leading strategic growth and business development initiatives within the construction or manufacturing industries.Extensive financial acumen, including expertise in profit and loss management, revenue growth optimisation, and cost control.Strong leadership capabilities, emphasising teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement across all levels.Proficient in analysing market trends, identifying opportunities, and crafting strategic sales plans to capitalise on market potential.Highly committed to delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining the highest standards of product quality.You will enjoy the challenge of ensuring the overall management and direction of the company by communicating, planning, and motivating team members, with a strategic financial focus.
