Our client enjoys craft, especially diamond dot canvas arts, a good chat, and a cuppa.Your impactVolunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself.
Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.HammondCareHammondCare is an independent Christian charity and we're passionate about improving the quality of life for people in need.
We have a wonderful group of volunteers that partner with us to enhance the lives of elderly people.Further informationFor more information about volunteering at HammondCare, click the apply button below and our recruitment team will be in contact.Requirements• 18 years or older• National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare• We'd be happy to discuss a suitable time during the week for a 30-minute to one-hour visit between 9 am and 4 pm, Monday to Sunday.
