Job Description
Posting Description As an Associate in the Global Investment Banking coverage team, you will be heavily involved in transaction execution, marketing, and other client coverage initiatives, as well as playing a part in driving the culture, overall strategy, and growth of the business.
Job Responsibilities Participate in the "full cycle" of transactional execution including preparing marketing pitches, reviewing and formulating financial analysis, preparing and presenting internal and client presentations.Play a leadership role in implementing the execution function including working with, and supporting, analysts as well as assisting more senior bankers.Demonstrate your analytical, modelling, writing, and presentation skills.Be knowledgeable about the global and Australian sectors and its participants and collaborate closely with colleagues across JP Morgan's global platform as well as the Australian product groups.Be highly motivated, enthusiastic, proactive, and aligned with J.P. Morgan's growth aspirations.Contribute to the development and learning of analysts working in the Global coverage group as well as the Australian product groups.Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills Prior work experience in investment banking and an awareness of the products and services provided.A well-rounded academic background from a top-tier educational institution.Strong financial modelling skills.A general understanding of the M&A and capital markets transaction cycle and processes involved.Impeccable communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with senior professionals, clients, and key stakeholders in other product groups.Proactive, highly motivated, and committed with the ability to work both independently as well as collaboratively.ABOUT US J.P.
