Permanent and Full-time role opportunity Gold Coast location How will I help?
As a Technology Domain Owner, you will be accountable for end-to-end service management, risk, delivery, and financials for the Consumer Risk and Regulatory portfolio of work.
This includes programs such as Financial Crime Compliance, Remediation, and potential other compliance programs.
This is a new role and an exciting opportunity to be part of the Consumer Technology Team supporting the Chief Operating Office.
Setting a clear vision and strategy, and communicating 'the story' well to key stakeholders and the rest of the village. Partnering with senior stakeholders across LOB and Tech to drive and implement the Technology strategy. Providing guidance to key LOB business stakeholders to foster the right standard of engagement, communication, issue management, and ultimately satisfaction with the activities of Technology. Supporting the Heads of to actively manage demand to ensure it is appropriately prioritised, funded, resourced, and aligned with the LOB and Technology strategy. Structuring, planning, and executing major project activities, ensuring efficient and quality execution, on budget/schedule delivery and full realisation of expected benefits. Taking accountability for service/product decisions in a fast-paced environment. Managing cross-squad and village dependencies, with a focus on driving collaboration. Actively managing supplier/3rd party partners and vendors. Ensuring the activities of the village remain within risk appetite. People leadership accountabilities, including developing strategic workforce plans and developing village capability and a higher and more consistent standard of maturity in conjunction with the Heads of. Building a highly engaged workforce through role modelling Westpac's leadership standard. What do I need?
Experience in leveraging Agile and DevOps principles, preferably in a finance or risk and regulatory domain. Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship building skills. Strong vendor management skills with the ability to challenge and negotiate with vendors. Proactive, organized, and outcomes-focused. Customer-focused with adaptability to changing priorities. Ability to achieve objectives in a dynamic environment. Leadership and collaborative teamwork skills. Passionate and energetic, fostering enthusiasm and vision.
