Open early and up late, we offer breakfast, lunch and dinner, seven days a week.
Our menu showcases European bistro classics combined with modern Australian flair, designed for sharing among family and friends.
It's where old world European charm meets warm and welcoming hospitality.
About the role
Our bar manager oversees all aspects of operating our bar while ensuring a high standard of customer service.
A sound knowledge of wine styles, properties and service are key in this role.
Our bar manager will work closely with our front of house team to foster a cohesive work environment and inspire excellence at all times.
Key responsibilities
Leadership: Recruit, train and develop a team dedicated to delivering a high level of wine, cocktail and spirit service.
Operations: Oversee daily operations including inventory management, meeting financial budgets, training and education, and business development.
Ensure quality and consistency in beverage preparation and service through regular inspection and training.
Assist in the development of our beverage offering.
Report directly to the Operations Manager and Venue Manager.
Guest experience: Offer each guest attentive, professional and personalised service, guided by company standards.
Community and culture: Cultivate a sense of community; work closely with all departments to deliver memorable dining experiences and team cohesion.
Build and maintain positive relationships with the wider community to encourage engagement.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with food, health and hygiene standards, occupational health and safety standards, and company policies and procedures, while proactively identifying and mitigating operational risks.
Skills & Experience
2 years proven experience in a bar leadership role, creating memorable guest experiences in a restaurant setting.
A strong focus on local and imported wine, and sound cocktail and spirit knowledge.
Demonstrated ability to educate, motivate, and coach a strong service team.
Understanding of food, health and hygiene and occupational health and safety standards.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, experience working in a fast-paced dining setting.
Adaptable, detail oriented, strong organisational and time management skills.
