Learning Technologies Coach

The key purpose of this role is to facilitate the innovative and responsible use of technologies within learning experiences for our staff and students.The role manages the coordination and curation of key digital platforms, facilitates professional learning to build the capacity of staff, provides students with the skills and tools to leverage technology innovatively and supports high-quality multimedia use through the School.This is an ongoing, full-time role, commencing for the 2025 School year and be included in the Induction Program on 23 and 24 January.The successful applicant will:Be curious, excited and invigorated by learning and is a continuous, autonomous learner who makes visible their own learningBe willing to be involved in all aspects of the School's programPossess strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and interact with both adults and studentsHave high level communication skillsBe able to work independently but also as part of a dynamic, creative and collaborative teamDemonstrate an understanding of and a commitment to following the School's child safety expectations, principles and policiesRelevant and demonstrated experience in similar roles in an educational setting is well regardedCertificate in Assessment and Training, Relevant Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Education, Computer Science or related discipline is highly desirableHold a current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) is well regardedLevel II First Aid Certificate is well regardedHold a current National Police Check (obtained within the last 6 months)St Michael's Grammar School is one of the leading co-educational, independent schools in Australia, providing exceptional learning opportunities to students from Kindergarten to Year 12.The School is respected for its exceptional education, wellbeing programs and a deep commitment to innovative approaches to teaching, learning and caring.
