Interior Designer - High End Residential DevelopmentsThis major industry player is an established and uber-successful luxury developer and lifestyle brand. They have a brilliant ethos and culture and truly invest in their people. The group has recently experienced rapid growth within sectors beyond residential such as hotels, private clubs, hospitality, and leisure.An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Interior Designer to join their in-house design team to work on luxury projects across the multi-residential, residential, and hospitality sectors.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare spatial planning, test fit and schematic design schemesDevelop the design in 3D SketchUp, 3DS Max (or similar) and AutoCADPrepare concept design and development presentationsPrepare FF&E Schedules as requiredAssist in the practical sourcing and procurement phase of ID projects including onsite coordination, assistance during fit-out and delivery of projectsReview reports and documentation packages, drawing schedules, and specifications from external consultantsLiaise with internal project teams including construction managers, project managers, and development teamsLiaise with external interior designers, architects, engineers, and specialist sub-consultantsCo-ordinate with clients, consultants, and suppliers as requiredDocument checking with alignment against the company design brief and pillarsMonitor and mitigate project risks and escalate where necessaryMaintain an awareness of all matters relevant to the design and production of the deliverables for the projectAssist with Quality AssuranceThe onsite management and coordination of styling elements for photoshoots and events as requiredSkills & ExperiencesProven success as an Interior Designer within the property development spaceRelevant degree in Interior Design or equivalentProficiency with design software will be viewed advantageouslyExperience in developing and presenting concept designs, including creating development presentationsKnowledge of FF&E with expertise in selecting and scheduling furniture, fixtures, and equipment and a strong understanding of materials and finishesExperience managing design projects from concept to completion, including sourcing, procurement, and onsite coordination during fit-outsCompetence in reviewing design documentation packages, ensuring alignment with project requirementsStrong interpersonal skills for coordinating clients, consultants, and suppliers, ensuring smooth communication and project progression
