Maningrida's waitingAbout the OpportunityBawinanga Homelands Aboriginal Corporation is looking for a competent and experienced person to fill the role of Human Resources Manager based at Maningrida in West Arnhem Land. We employ up to 160 indigenous and non-indigenous workers across a number of different services operating out of Maningrida.Your focus will be ensuring best practice across all aspects of HR, including employee relations, company culture, recruitment/induction, termination, policies & procedures, reporting & analytics, WHS, training, risk management, workers' compensation, performance management, reviews, remuneration & benefits, investigations and HR compliance.As part of our organisation and senior leadership team, you will report directly to the CEO and be instrumental in leading HR initiatives across BHAC. You will develop a people strategy that aligns with business goals, offering innovative insights and solutions to address critical people-related challenges within our organisation.About YouThe ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:Degree in Human Resources or a related fieldMinimum of 3-5 years of experience in HR Manager role, with a focus as a highly motivated leader and achieverExperience in creating or redefining a HR framework, including policy and process, educating and influencing management, and ensuring a collaborative culture across the business.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, leading by exampleProficiency in HR software and systems, with strong analytic and reporting capabilitiesIn-depth knowledge of HR practices, employment law, and regulations in AustraliaA valid driver's licenceExperience working within an Aboriginal organisation or similar is highly valuedPrevious experience managing a HR teamExperience using human resources management softwareAdditionally, the successful applicant will need to obtain:Satisfactory National Police Check clearanceAbout the BenefitsWhen you join BHAC, you will receive a competitivesalary starting at $130,000 along with12% superannuation and a host of great benefits, including:Salary Packaging up to $15,900Relocation Assistance provided6 weeks of annual leave (pro-rata)17.5% leave loadingFlexible work arrangements, including time-in-lieu optionsOpportunities for overtimeRent-free furnished accommodation providedReady to Apply?If you're an experienced HR professional looking for an opportunity to work closely with remote Aboriginal communities and make an impact on their health and wellbeing outcomes, click Apply NOWWhat can I earn as a Human Resources Manager
