You will be joining a team of operations and forklift specialists who are responsible for receiving, storing, and dispatching vehicles within our busy branch.
This is a full-time, ongoing position, working Monday to Friday, between 8:00am and 4:30pm.
In this role, we are looking for someone with high attention to detail, strong communication skills, and enthusiasm for change.Your key responsibilities will include:Coordinate, monitor and record stock departures and deliveries to the branch from the gatehouseControl public access to the facilityBook-in a range of assets by taking photos, entering descriptions and details onto our user-friendly auction systemLocate, move (using a forklift), and record the movements of all assetsConduct daily prestart forklift checks, weekly detail and maintenance checks, and complete forklift logbooks to ensure all activities are carried out in a safe manner.Load/unload trucks of assets efficiently to ensure they are delivered in a timely manner.Ensuring all relevant documentation relating to the movement of assets is correct prior to release.ABOUT YOUTo be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and experience:Current, valid manual driver's licence (essential)Current, valid forklift licence (essential) - HR licence desirable but not essentialAbility to use an iPad with a high level of accuracy and attention to detailA strong commitment to safetyExcellent customer service skills with good verbal and written communication skillsAble to maintain quality standards and meet deadlinesAbility to work as part of a teamWHAT'S IN IT FOR YOUEmployee Benefits – Earn up to 5 days' extra leave and enjoy sharing in the company bonus program after a qualifying period, free on-site parking and moreTraining & Development – On the job training to make you an expert in your area, internal career pathing opportunities, and study assistance options to help you complete a course or qualification.Community & Wellbeing – Pickles proudly support local events and charities, enjoy paid volunteer leave and access our employee assistance program for you and your family.Reward & Recognition – Cash vouchers & recognition awards for doing great work and celebration of long service.ABOUT PICKLESWe're a service company striving to provide a consistent world-class experience and advice for our customers.
