We deliver in-home aged and disability care services, including household help, personal care, respite, shopping, allied therapies, nursing, transport, social and community access, home modifications and maintenance.Through our programs and a dedicated team of staff and volunteers, we support thousands of Australians to remain living safely and independently in their home and the local community.About the roleAn exciting opportunity for a Fixed-Term (12 Months) Part-Time (Monday to Friday) Home Care Packages – Administration Officer to join our amazing team at Maitland Community Care Services.
The successful candidate will provide high-quality client services working collaboratively and providing a range of administration support to the Home Care Packages team.Key responsibilities:Processing of client invoices in the client management system (CMS)Ongoing review and maintaining CHSP client approvals and assignments for HCPPreparing agendas and taking notes for Home Care Packages and Clinical meetingsAssist with the printing and mailing of client statementsAssisting with client inquiries and escalating items to Case Managers as requiredContributing to the development of program policies and proceduresAssisting with program evaluations and reporting requirementsOther additional ad-hoc administration duties as requiredAbout youTo be successful in this role, it is preferred but not essential that you have:Demonstrated experience in Home Care Package administrationDemonstrated high level competency in the Microsoft Office Suite, data entry, and filingKnowledge of Consumer Directed Care, NDIS and Home Care Guidelines.Certificate IV Community Services QualificationTogether with:Demonstrated experience working with clients and carers to identify needs, risks and strengths to design a care plan, associated budget and service agreement.A commitment to enabling real client choice while managing client expectations.A current NDIS Worker Check (or willingness to obtain)A current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)Why work with ADSSI?Guaranteed hours.Competitive hourly rate + paid travel time + paid kilometres (0.99c /kilometre).Eligible for $15,900 not-for-profit salary packaging plus a $2,600 meal entertainment card annually.Paid bonus schemes, e.g.
